Daniel Levy Stabs Martin Jol In The Front Yet Again

Well, the famous Tottenham PR department is at work again. This time Daniel Levy admitted to the Friday Football Show on Setanta that there is “some truth” to the wave after wave of rumours surrounding Martin Jol’s position as manager of the club. What a great way to make your man feel good and your fans feel confident,

“Obviously with any speculation sometimes there’s an element of truth, but there has been a lot of stuff that’s been written in the papers which has just been completely untrue,” Levy told the Friday Football Show on Setanta Sports.

“I think we’re all fairly thick-skinned if I’m honest, I just think Martin and the players need to ignore the outside pressure and just win, and that’s what it’s all about.”

Yes Martin has had to be thick skinned, Daniel, thanks to the position that you put him in. The fans, media and rest would have given him a much easier time had it not been somehow ‘leaked’ that you were shopping his job around. In a couple of months Levy has successfully gone from the man who brought stability and optimism to White Hart Lane to the only man who could have some reminiscing about the Alan Sugar days.
