What the hell was that?

Great result. 1-1 against a bunch of part time hotel workers.

The key here is that managers can get the best out of some players, but not others. There are too many examples to count of a coach being toss at one club but then winning trophies all over the place at another. Martin Jol is a good coach with good ideas and probably some good motivational skills judging by the public backing he gets from his players, but he clearly is struggling mightily to get the best out of Tottenham Hotspur’s players.

The funny thing, SW, is that they really were a bunch of hotel workers. One is a clerk and another works for a bank.

Until Jol is able to choose which palyers to buy and sell and work with a Board who have realistic man - management ideas and prespective, I will feel sorry for him.

Cards on the table - I am a Gooner - but I think that Jol is a decent bloke and a decent coach, who is now the victim of his own success.

Levy & Co. are just hoping to sell. They have the basis of a good team, but cannot stop meddling.

Why am I here - curiousity: Let’s just say you have an interesting web - site name. :oD
